How do inserts work?
Our inserts contain a proprietary blend of Moso bamboo charcoal and minerals. The millions of micro-pores in the charcoal absorb moisture, odor molecules and pollutants instead of masking them, which also stops the bacteria that create bad smell from growing.
How long do inserts last?
Up to 12 months of active use. Recharge them by placing them in direct sunlight for a few hours once a month and they keep working.
What do inserts contain?
Activated Moso bamboo charcoal, minerals and a light fragrance. REACH certified and 100% non-toxic.
Do inserts contain any phthalates and biocides?
No. Our inserts are free from phthalates and biocides, and are REACH certified.
Do the inserts have different scents?
Yes. The Active range comes in several scents and designs, and we also offer a fragrance-free option for sensitive users.

How does the Freshener Bag work?
Inside the bag sits a SmellWell™ membrane containing microporous activated Moso bamboo charcoal and minerals. It absorbs moisture and traps odor molecules instead of masking them, which also stops the bacteria that create bad smell from growing.
How do I use a Freshener Bag?
Place your shoes and gear in the bag and leave them overnight or between workouts. Use it as a string bag, or to keep dirty and moist gear separate from the rest of your gym bag or luggage.
How long does a Freshener Bag last?
The full effect lasts two years, and the bag keeps working after that while the scent gradually fades. Turn it inside out and place it in the sun for a couple of hours a few times per year to rejuvenate it.
Can I machine wash it?
No – do not wash your Freshener Bag. To refresh it, turn it inside out and leave it in direct sunlight for a few hours.
