Made for synthetics
Polyester and elastane hold sweat in the fibres. A normal wash leaves it there, which is why the shirt smells again as soon as you warm up.

Synthetic fabrics are great at moving moisture, and just as good at holding on to what the moisture carries.
The oils and odor-causing bacteria from a training session bind to polyester far more than to cotton. A regular detergent is made for cotton and leaves much of it in place, so the shirt comes out of the machine smelling fine and starts to smell again ten minutes into the next session.
Sport Detergent is formulated for exactly these fabrics: it clears the odor at the source and keeps the fabric soft and stretchy wash after wash.

Quick answers
Can I use it for all my laundry?
Yes, but it's made to earn its place on the training clothes: shirts, tights, socks, base layers, shin-guard sleeves and anything else synthetic.
Does it work in cold water?
Yes. Wash at 30–40 °C, which is also what most activewear care labels ask for.
Do I need the softener too?
No. The detergent does the odor work on its own. Sport Softener adds a softer feel and a lasting fresh scent, without coating the fibre the way a regular softener does.
How many washes per bottle?
Up to 25 loads from the 500 ml bottle, depending on how much you dose.
