Place your shoes and gear in the bag and leave them overnight or between workouts. Use it as a string bag, or to keep dirty and moist gear separate from the rest of your gym bag or luggage.

The full effect lasts two years, and the bag keeps working after that while the scent gradually fades. Turn it inside out and place it in the sun for a couple of hours a few times per year to rejuvenate it.
